BWINH Collective Community Organizer Core Initiation Program

A welcoming, community-centered onboarding journey for new Community Organizers (contractors and volunteers) in the BWINH Collective. This program grounds you in who we are, why we exist, and how we organize—rooted in Black cultural traditions, collective care, and self-determination. You’ll learn our history, values, organizing philosophy, key initiatives, communication practices, and the tools and agreements that guide our work. Expect reflection, journaling, discussion prompts, and knowledge checks to support learning and accountability as you step into the role.
