Our Advocacy
Why Advocacy Matters

Our community has carried the weight of injustice for generations. From exclusion in charitable giving to systemic barriers in housing, education, food, and health, Black people in New Hampshire continue to be left out of decisions that shape our lives.

Advocacy is how we make our voices heard. It is how we hold systems accountable and demand resources that match the realities we face. It is how we ensure that our survival, our culture, and our future are not left to chance.
Our Approach
We advocate for change in ways that:
• Center Black people, especially those most impacted by racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, poverty, and disability
• Build collective power instead of leaving individuals isolated
• Connect our local struggles in New Hampshire to the wider history of Black resistance and solidarity
