Education Rooted in Truth, Culture & Collective Growth
Our educational work is rooted in the belief that learning should help us better understand ourselves, our histories, our communities, and the systems shaping our lives.
Through workshops, discussions, storytelling, leadership development, cultural preservation, and community-centered learning spaces, we create opportunities for Black people to reconnect with history, strengthen critical thinking, deepen solidarity, and imagine new possibilities for our future.
Some of our programs focus on reclaiming stories that have been erased or overlooked. Others focus on healing, leadership, cultural traditions, cooperative values, and building stronger communities rooted in collective care.
Together, these initiatives help strengthen the Black ecosystem in New Hampshire while honoring the knowledge, resilience, and traditions carried by our people across generations.
Our Approach to Learning
Learning Beyond Traditional Systems
We believe education does not only happen in classrooms or institutions.
Some of our deepest learning happens through storytelling, lived experience, intergenerational wisdom, cultural practices, collective reflection, and community dialogue.
Our programs are designed to be accessible, community-rooted, and grounded in the realities Black people navigate every day. We encourage curiosity, critical thinking, healing, creativity, and meaningful conversation while creating space for different learning styles and lived experiences.
