sometimes building community can be as simple as getting outside, exploring somewhere beautiful, and spending time with people who get it.
join the BWINH Collective for We Outside: Black & Queer Community Hike, a community day at Flume Gorge created with Black LGBTQIA+ folks in mind.
we’ll take on the scenic approximately 2-mile Flume Gorge loop together, enjoy the fall scenery, meet some new people, and make space for Black queer community beyond our usual events and online spaces.
this gathering is part of our work to intentionally create more spaces for Black folks whose experiences and interests aren't always centered, including queer, neurodivergent, alternative, and otherwise underrepresented members of our community.
